Camp Menu
After 10 wonderful years of Camp Marmot — and with three children of her own — Laura truly understands how important it is for parents to know their children are eating well.
At Camp Marmot, food is a big part of camp life. We carefully plan our menus, speak with the children regularly, and involve them in choosing meals for the week. Our goal is simple: happy, healthy children who are well fed and full of energy for their adventures.

Breakfast

At both Breakfast Club and Sappada, children enjoy:
-
A daily hot dish
-
A buffet-style breakfast with cereals, yoghurt, toast and fresh fruit
-
Water and milk always available
Morning snacks also available including a portion of fresh fruit and a carbohydrate option for sustained energy.
Simple, Balanced and Nutritious.

Lunch
Lunch is always homemade and varied, including:
-
Pasta dishes (served separately from sauces so children can choose)
-
Homemade Pizza
-
Curries
-
Picnics and other wholesome favourites

Vegetables are always served on the side, encouraging balanced meals while giving children flexibility.
If a child doesn't fancy the first option, there is always a second choice available - trust us, they don't go hungry!

Afternoon snacks will include fruit, a carbohydrate option or occasionally the children have made themselves earlier in the day.

We love encouraging children to get involved in food preparation and menu ideas.

Dinner
Dinner menus have evolved over the years based on children's feedback. We always ask what they enjoy and adapt accordingly.
-
Hearty, home-cooked meals
-
Always served with vegetables
-
Second options available if needed
Children attending Sappada also enjoy an evening snack around 8pm during their evening activities. This may include yoghurt, fruit, popcorn or biscuits.

Dietary Needs and Allergies
We carefully adapt our menu for:
-
Gluten-free diets
-
Allergies
-
Intolerences
-
Any other dietary requirements
Our aime is that every child enjoys the same meal experience, safely adapted where necessary.

Drinks
Water and milk are always available throughout the day. Occasionally, there may be a small treat of juice or pop during the week.
Our Promise
At Camp Marmot our mealtimes are relaxed, inclusive and nourishing.

Balanced. Homemade. Child-approved.

Most importantly - your children are well fed, well cared fir and ready for every adventure camp brings.

Here at camp we try and influence the taste buds and make dishes from around the world.
