Sappada Camp
A Real Outdoor Camp Experience
Camp Sappada is a full sleepover and day camp set in a stunning mountain environment.
With a strong focus on outdoor adventure, children take part in activities such as canoeing, hiking, and many more experiences designed to encourage movement, independence, and a healthy, active lifestyle, making it a truly immersive summer experience.
We spend most of the day outdoors (even in the rain ) because we believe nature is the best playground. At Camp Sappada , dirty clothes are a sign of a day well spent. Muddy boots, grass stains, and wet jackets mean your child explored, climbed, paddled, discovered, and laughed.
Stains fade. Confidence lasts.
Friendships grow. Memories stay.
We send them home tired, proud, and a little muddy!

With cool summer temperatures, clean air, and plenty of space to relax, Sappada is ideal for tent campers, campervans, and nature lovers seeking calm rather than crowds.

Camp Accommodation
Camp Accommodation when enquiring, Laura carefully plans each week to create the best possible mix of ages and friendships. A lot of thought goes into every booking ,it’s never just a case of picking a week and that’s that. Wherever possible, children are grouped with others of a similar age to help friendships form naturally. With siblings, this isn’t always straightforward, but careful consideration is always given, and any age gaps are discussed with parents in advance.
Thoughtful planning is at the heart of how Camp Marmot works.
We have three bunk rooms, all with bunk beds:
•Two bunk rooms have en-suite toilets and showers
•One bunk room is located on the camp grounds, with a toilet close by, and children use the main Rifugio showers (when they feel like it! 🤣)
Children bring their own sleeping bags and pillows, and we separate boys’ and girls’ rooms.
Siblings are usually kept together depending on age, unless discussed with parents beforehand.
That said, children spend very little time in their rooms, we’re far too busy! Days are filled with outdoor adventures, and evenings are spent building fires, making s’mores, or enjoying a movie night in either English or Italian. Bedtime is usually around 8–9pm, depending on age, after a full day of fresh air, muddy clothes, and fun that often lasts right up until moonlight.
This is proper camp life!!! outdoors, active, social, and unforgettable.
